What are Stripe's payment processing fees?
Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction and 0.8% (capped at $5) for ACH bank transfers. These are Stripe's standard rates — Ketterly does not add any markup.
Does Ketterly support partial payments and deposits?
Yes. You can configure invoices to collect a percentage deposit upfront and the remainder on completion. Both are tracked in the Ketterly job record.
Can I pay subcontractor crews through Ketterly?
Yes. Ketterly uses Stripe Connect to pay subcontractors directly. Each sub connects their own Stripe account and receives payouts based on job completion.
Is Stripe secure for roofing customers to use?
Yes. Stripe is PCI-compliant and processes billions of dollars per year. Your customers pay through a Stripe-hosted page — Ketterly never handles raw card data.
Do customers need a Stripe account to pay?
